Life raft
While at the Boathouse Residency in Sandøya, Norway, a project about material reinforcement turned into a project about the support of other people. Family, friends, strangers that I was fortunate to meet through my host, the fabulous artist Laurie Vestøl. Some people we hold on to with our physical relationship, some we hold on to with memory. Either way, we touch and support each other in graceful ways we can’t predict. Many, many thanks.
