Elizabeth Mihaltse Lindy is an interdisciplinary artist based in Beacon, New York whose practice spans sculpted paper, photography, video, and performance. Her work takes the body as both subject and site, exploring inscription, transformation, and resilience through gestures of devotion and care.
Her recent solo exhibition, An Offering of Gravity and Grace, was presented at Super Secret Projects in Beacon, NY; she has also presented a solo exhibition, Tracing Radiance, at the Linen Factory in Port Chester, NY. Her work has been presented nationally and internationally, including at MASS MoCA (North Adams, MA) as part of the Roots/Wings residency weekend, Hudson Valley MOCA (Peekskill, NY), the CaMus Museo Camuno (Breno, Italy), Gallery RAG (Gloucester, MA), and Ideal Glass Atelier (New York, NY), among other venues.
She has been an artist-in-residence at The Crit Lab in Cividate Camuno, Italy, and completed the Boathouse Residency in Porsgrunn, Norway. Lindy holds a BFA in Graphic Design from Rhode Island School of Design and an MFA in Visual Art from Lesley University College of Art + Design.
