Viscera: Kiki McGrath + Elizabeth Mihaltse Lindy
MAPSpace 6 North Pearl Street, 4th floor, Port Chester NY 10573
Viscera, a two-person exhibition with Kiki McGrath and Elizabeth Mihaltse Lindy at MAPSpace. Across two weekends, our work will unfold through sculptural installation, video, participatory performances, and a drawing workshop accompanied by a live sound performance by musician Jane Rigler.
The exhibition invites an exploration of the body and presence, interiority, and material transformation, with opportunities for visitors to enter into the work through movement, making, listening, and gathering. We would love to have you join us for the opening and experience Viscera in person.
Elizabeth Mihaltse Lindy is an interdisciplinary artist based in Beacon, NY. Her practice spans sculpted paper, photography, video, and performance that takes the body as both subject and site, exploring inscription, transformation, and resilience through ritual, attention, and gestures of care. elizabethmlindy.com | @elizabethmlindy
Kiki McGrath is an interdisciplinary artist based in Chicago. Her installations and site-specific performances draw from spiritual texts and practices. Approaching the body as an instrument of devotion, she combines repetition and visceral gestures to create contemporary rituals. kikimcgrath.com | @kiki.mcgrath
